In October and November 2025, STRABAG Hrvatska (POMGRAD INŽENJERING d.o.o.) partnered with Teknoxgroup to equip two CAT 390F machines—one in 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐚 (Fažana) and one in 𝐒𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐭—with the 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝟑𝐃 𝐆𝐍𝐒𝐒 system.

Trimble Marine 3D GNSS is an advanced positioning and guidance solution that delivers real-time, high-accuracy 3D information for marine excavation and dredging operations. It enables operators to precisely monitor bucket position and excavation depth below the water surface, supporting tasks such as underwater excavation, seabed shaping, dredging, and coastal or port infrastructure works. The result is greater accuracy, reduced over-excavation, improved efficiency, and full control over underwater operations.

Together with Sitech Denmark A/S technicians, we completed the full installation and calibration of the excavators and their attachments (hammer, bucket and rotary cutter), and integrated the TMC software with all project data. Their surveyor provided hands-on training on coordinate systems, base station setup, interface adjustments and real-workflow use, while Teknoxgroup ensured the delivery of the Trimble positioning correction system and final commissioning.

Following system updates, both base stations and rover units performed flawlessly. Operators, surveyors, and engineers received comprehensive training, followed by a live demonstration directly on the customer’s active project. Customer feedback has been excellent, highlighting the efficiency of the installation, timely technical support, and uninterrupted system start-up.
